Although it is what I wanted, it was old stock and very dust covered. The Velcro product inside had cracks and splits on the hooks side, which meant I had to piece together sections instead of having up to 10 continuous feet of tape.

Q: Flammability Rating for this product Hi There, I need to install this in a high heat area under my fireplace. There is no active flame in this area however the tape will be used for securing a blower. Thanks, EW

A: The operating temperature for our Extreme products is listed on the back of the packaging, it is recommended for temperatures between -30 to 140 degrees F (-34 to 60 degrees C). Not knowing how hot his mounting surface gets we cannot say definitively if our product will work for his specific application. As with all products, please read directions and use in a safe manner. With the Velcro being near the fireplace, this would not be recommended to be used.
