Very sturdy but not enough space on it

This laundry rack is very sturdy but it doesn't hold a lot of laundry and doesn't quite fit the width of a bath towel (even the smaller size ones) on the rack. The lower rack is quite akward to use as well. We use it along with another rack so it works okay for us.

Q: Why is the price on these clothes dryer racks so high? I have seen these racks at home depot/ Jysk /Ikea for a lot less as low as $19.95 and I believe at Canadian Tire on line I was just looking for one

A: We've bought the previous version of this, it is more expensive due to the solid construction and thick racks -- the cheap ones, are just that - cheap. They fall apart easily. We've had these racks for over 7-years and they are indestructible! We bought ours on sale, and want another but will wait for a sale again.

Q: Would this rack work for drying sweaters that need to lay flat to dry without stretching out or sagging? How many sweaters could you fit on the surface?

A: You can lay 6 sweaters across 2 poles each so that they don't stretch out. You might be able to fit 1 or 2 more on the bottom rack.

A: Ballpark, with no measuring tape lying around I would say mine looks to be 4 feet tall when folded and 2.5-3 feet wide. Fits nice and flat against the wall.

Q: Both the description online and the 'card' that comes with the rack state that it is stainless steel. However it doesn't feel like stainless steel to me nor is it magnetic (no magnetic stuck). What is this actually made of?
