The type A Padded Ironing Board Cover is designed to fit boards ranging from 16-1/2" to 55" and is made from water- and stain-resistant fabric. It features a toggle fastener that fits without slipping, while the Turbo-Glide strip eliminates friction. It comes with a fibreglass heat-resistant iron rest, so you have space to keep your iron without worrying about burns to the cover or your garments. This iron table cover is made from 100% cotton. This ironing board cover is size A and can be convenitnely paired with other same sized items to complete your collection.

The packaging on the cover I purchased, with the same look, style and product number (142 0916-4), says "Meta Premium ironing board cover". I don't see this as a premium product. It does not mold to the ironing board due partly to the creases caused by having been folded into the packaging . The string pulling the cover around the board is very thin and does not pull easily but it does thread to the back of the cover to help fasten the back end. Straps underneath the cover, to help keep the cover fastened to the ironing board, or elastic sewn into the outer edges of the cover, would be beneficial but are not included in this product. The quality of this product does not merit the price paid.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Type A Padded Ironing Board Cover #142-0916-4. I can find no way to secure the sides and back of the cover around the ironing board. There is a pull cord at the front with a toggle, but that only secures the front. There are no instructions. Please advise

A: Thank you for your question. Place the flat cover over the board, hold the cover in place and pull on the cord to tighten the cover. Then continue to pull tightly, the whole cover will form around and tighten to the board. Use the toggle to tighten and hold.
