Assembly Nightmare

Visually looks nice, would not recomend purchasing solely becasue the assembly process is ridiculously complicated. Screws were too short, holes cut too big to the point where the pieces would fall apart because the screw would slide through the hole. Instructions are convulted. go with IKEA if you can.

One star because I still haven’t gotten this thing together. Agree with all the comments that the screw is too short and it’s near impossible to do on your own. But the IKEA version instead!

Q: Hello, I bought one today at Eaton Centre. Everything seems ok but the locks on the wheels don't work at all. I tried to twist the locks both ways (ON/OFF) but they didn't lock the wheels in place. Am I missing something?

A: Found the answer myself. After looking at this clip by CanadianTire https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFZnzVIdmEc (at 1:20), I can conclude that my wheels (brakes) are broken. So my question changes to this one: can I bring just the wheels in to exchange or do I need to disassemble the whole thing and bring them back to the store to exchange?

Q: The second shelf keeps sliding to the bottom shelf. I believe it’s supposed to hold up to 20lbs but it slides down even with just a curling iron in it. Is there a way to keep slelf up?

A: If the center shelf doesn’t stay in position, remove the side plate, use a plier and the rounded side bend inward a little, that will fix the problem.

A: Shelves have been tested for 9kg, but if you drop them in the baskets, this is a much greater force than 9kg.
