Storm 26” Blower
a month ago
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I downsized from the 30” blower to this model. So much easier for me to maunever and plenty of power to move the snow. Haven’t had snow yet but the engine is powerful. So far, I’m loving it.

Few challenges on largely solid machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it has been solid for me for 2 years. There are two things that prevent me from giving it full marks, though. First, no matter how I adjust the tightness of the bolts in the chute mechanism, it never seems quite right to get it to stay where I set it. Over relatively short times, the snow pushes the height up, so I have to keep stopping to fix the throw height. Second, the height adjuster has a tendency in some conditions to freeze in place. I can't raise or lower it until I put it back in my garage to thaw and dry out. This takes the process of finishing two driveways and a walking path from maybe 45-60 minutes to several hours long. It's a shame this one part isn't more reliable, since the rest of the machine has been rock solid.
