Q: how does the friction disc stand up? i was told that they are not as good as the hydo stat machines is this true?

It has SelecTrac drive which is a weight transfer system designed to quickly shift the weight of the machine from front to back, allowing for good handling in hard-packed, icy snow or on gravel driveways.
