Universal connection to Poulan Pro - No problem.

I am very pleased with this attachment. It connected directly and easily to my Poulan Pro string trimmer. When using it, it cut through small new-growth trees (maple, poplar, cedar and pine) and brush surprisingly quickly. I would recommend it.

A: I am uncertain if the brush cutter will work with the Yardwork's unit. I had purchased all attachments when I purchased a Troy-bilt trimmer. I could assume if the brush cutter fit the Yardwork's shaft and drive gear attachment, without any modification, it may work?? I do know that warranty will not cover any adaption or modification to a product to use with a different Company brand of product UNLESS stated by the Companies as "interchangeable" between various Company branded products! A: While it fits the Greenworks 10A trimmer power head, I had to make a small adjustment to push it far enough into the power unit for the index button to lock it in place. The trimmers flex shaft was about 3/16" too long which prevented the index hole and button from alligning. My solution was to use a thin cutoff wheel in a 4 in grinder to remove 3/16" from the square shank on the end of the cutter cable. It may have been a one off problem but if anyone else has this problem (and is too far from a Canadian Tire store to return it ), and decides to shorted the cable, I caution you NOT to use bolt cutters or any other crushing cutter. That will likely cause the cable to unravel and you will end up replacing the entire cable. Be sure to grind off all four sharp edges of the cut.
