Post hole Auger.

We purchased this postal logger figuring it was going to be the best thing going better than a shovel. We tried to make it dig and it wouldn't dig if you turned it backwards. It picked up the ground but the end come off. It was the biggest piece of junk. We tried it. Maybe 6 in and then we brought it back.

Terrible product

Please listen to these reviews. A total garbage product. It won't bite properly turning clockwise, but turning counterclockwise where it actually bites, unscrews it. So I modded it by putting a 5/8 bolt though the shaft to hold it in place so it won't unscrew. It was then working acceptably, but I hit some resistance and I sheared the head off with enough torque right where the head meets the shaft. Sheared the thin metal apart. The break point wasn't even close to where my bolt mod was, the shaft metal is just super thin. literally a very terrible product for the price, between the bad design to the thin metal. I don't usually listen to some bad reviews, but please listen to not just mine, but everyone else's as well.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Poor functioning auger.

I had a variety of soils to drill, from gravel bearing to beach sand. Each time I turned the thing like mad, I had about a spoon full or so to pull up for my work. I bought a digging auger (shovel head), which worked great in any soil conditions.

Waste of money!

Handle broke at the threads of where it screws in to the bottom section. Barely started digging with it. Waste of $100. Don’t even waste your time with this post hole auger!
