Only got this as it was in the wrong bin & from outside packaging can't tell it apart from the one without any metal in the middle. Little grinding and drilling holes top and bottom, works as good as the other style I purchased.

Protection plus for your plug

I have tried other outdoor covers in the past and wished I had tried this one first. The cover flipping up provides a natural awning for cord and the connection to the power, and when you remove the plug, it closes! I don't have to see the next day how I forgot to close the cover... again! I like it.
