    Great cooler

I bought this cooler for work (long haul truck driver). I am on the road 5 days a week and it keeps all my food and beverages cold. I have it plugged in at home so it pretty much runs continuously. Not exactly sure how long I've had it but at least 5 yrs. Like I said runs pretty much continuously and still going. Have used other pricer brands and none have even come close to lasting this long. Great product!

    Works as advertised - simple

Bought a cooler (different one) that was defective a couple years ago from Canadian Tire - I exchanged it paying a little extra for this one. It's been from Ontario to Nova Scotia and on extra camping trips with me. Just getting ready to go on another trip in a few weeks so I pulled it out to test if it's still working. I threw a digital remote temperature sensor inside and it's cooled 17C below my room temperature of 24 and heated up to 51C before beginning to cycle on and off. This will not keep your ice as long unpowered as it would for a more expensive non-electric cooler but it is a great cooler for a weekend trip or longer if using powered. I purchased a 120VAC to 12VDC adaptor to use in standard plugs which is how I primarily run it - no issues!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Great Cooler

I've used a similar item in the past that kept freezing but this one does not seem to do that. But I've had to return it because the plug in had melted and would not work anymore. I had no issues getting a new one. I guess if it happens again we'll just do like the other guy, just put in a heavier 6 amp plug in.

    Woods Car Cooler and Warmer

Hi, bought this cooler to keep in the vehicle and keep items cool while traveling. I have only used the cooling cycle to date. When not in use in the vehicle I have an RV with a fridge to use. Works great, does not freeze but certainly cools drinks, salads well.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    • A: Its probably the cooler 12 volt plug. Its very cheaply made. I drive truck too and I had the same problem with mine so I cut the original plug off and wired a heavy duty 12 volt plug on. No problems after that, just make sure the new plug's fuse is 6 amps.

Q: Does the unit also have a 120V plug/ adapter? Is there a brochure? Is there a manual? How do I get copies? I assume that the cooling is 30 F below ambient and the numbers on the product page are just a math error.

    • A: Inside the manual, customers can find on a quick view details about cooling and warming capacity. Please contact our office at 1-800-387-8803 to obtain a copy.
