Needed many coats.

The label implies that it seals with one or two coats. I had to put 10 coats on the grout on my bathroom floor before it would achieve the effect shown in the picture on the label.

No, I do not recommend this product.

No Customer Service from company

I wanted information about this product. The bottle has very limited information. The phone number is a French answering machine with no options for English. There is a technical sheet option on the website for download.. but again .. only in French. No info as to use on sanded or unsanded grout. No info on mildew or mold resistance.

Q: Can this sealer be used to seal tiles also, not just grout?

A: This product is only for use on Grout. There is no effective sealer for ceramic or porcelain. Only porous tile like marble and granite (not polish), and slate travertine.

Q: I didn’t realize there was such a product, so I used outdoor clear latex on the bathroom wall tile grout for protection. Is it ok if I repaint it with this product?

A: The latex has already sealed the Grout so the Kosmic Surf-Pro Sealer will not penetrate.
