Very Disappointed!

Major water leak at the bottom of the water level window after 18 months of minimal use! Expected better quality from T-Fal especially at this price point! No wonder it's been discontinued. Will never purchase T-Fal appliances again.

Leaking at water level windows

Purchased this kettle 1 3/4 years ago and it has started leaking from one of the water level windows. Considering the price, I expected a much longer lasting product!

Leaking!

Leaking at indication window!!!!!
I bought this kettle about a year, everything is fine, but only last week I found there is water leaking at the joint of plastic window and steel body. I don’t know if we can bring to Canadian Tire store to fix or contact the manufacturer. I bought this because of somebody referred to me, but didn’t expect it leaking so soon. Please let me know how to settle this problem if someone knows.

The Best Kettle

This is the best kettle in terms of quality, value, and function of the many kettles offered by Cdn Tire. Beautifully and solidly constructed of Stainless Steel, features auto shutoff (blue lighted with quiet click when ready), safe swivel base, strong insulated handle, and no exposed element so stays cleaner. We have used this model daily for 6 months and it works great. T-Fal still produces quality products in several categories and has a presence in Canada so it is easy to obtain parts and service. Only note is that this kettle is solid metal and weighs 1 KG empty, so with 1 litre of water adding another KG you need a steady arm to lift and pour.

Q: Hello, T-Fall brand is famous for using Teflon in most of its products. 1- Is any Teflon coating used in this kettle? 2- Is the water level window BPA-free? For example for Heritage Stainless Steel Electric Kettle (043-5725-4 ) it is written BPA-free.

A: All of our kettles (including plastic kettles) are BPA free. Also there is no Teflon coating in the T-fal Maison kettle.
