Picture does not match the item sold

I have ordered this item online, then went to my store for pickup and realized that the item was not the one advertised. Different picture / shape... actually the model from the previous years as I understood after I asked. Canadian tire offered a refund, but I had driven several kilometres to get there and did not want to come back with nothing, so I took it. All that said, it works well in the end. So I am happy with the quality of the product but very dissatisfied with the fact Canadian tire advertised a different item.

A: I grill meat , veges ..melt cheese on bread in small trays.. or over tomatoes.. I enjoy using our fondue then grilling meat on it afterwards.. I've made eggs then grill ham and topped on egg and melted cheese..it is just a fun thing to have and must not be in a hurry to eat!!
