Bought this cabinet as one of two for my yarn stash. The other one is similar but has the drawer in the middle. I absolutely love them!! Lots of room for everything, they are perfect.

An Easy FIX

Most reviews are accurate. SOLUTION- I used caulking on the inside panels of the door. Used my daughters school glue on the frame and backing before nailing and glueing. Used a piece of wood paneling over the cardboard backing. Cabinet is solid with a little extra work. Only buy on sale. 5* now (:

The door is not solid. Frame is not attached to the center part so it is moving. Centre part is like paper, not a solid wood product. I noticed after I assembled it. So disappointing. I will never buy that kind of product online.

Not worth it!

I bought a couple of these for our basement living area. The doors are not solid. The frame and center piece are not melded together...frame is stapled in corners...looks very cheap. You don't realize it until your almost finished putting it together.

Q: Is it true that the door inserts are made of thick board material? My local CT has this on display like 15ft up on a shelf so I can't confirm myself

A: It's almost as if these were designed for Glass, but they put in Thin wood. It's not really noticeable unless you put heavy wear on the doors I assume. I wouldn't recommend it if you have young children in high traffic areas, but for me, my child is 12 and we haven't had any issues.

Q: How do yu get the doors to close Flush? My pantry doors have a space between them and are not flush together. Is that how it is supposed to be? I followed the instructions carefully.

A: The last step on the instructions tell you how to adjust the hinges. When i first put the two doors on, there was a gap. When i loosened the "C" Screw and tightened the "B" screw (as the instructions indicate), The gap was gone after some adjusting.

Q: can this unit be painted and if so, what type of paint is best I have 2 of these units and want to paint them to make them match something I already have in the room Not sure of what the finish is so want to check before I ruin them

A: The finish is a foil finish glued/pressed into particle board. In theory you can but you would have to use the proper under base. Something heavy like an oil based paint. However, we don’t recommend the painting of our furniture as we cannot warranty the result.

Q: What are the dimensions of the product in package?

A: The box is over 72" long (its really long). Id say at least 76". There is the 72" side panels and they have styrofoam at the top & bottom. It was about 12-15" wide and no more than 6" deep.

A: The two fixed shelves hold up to 40lbs each, and the 3 adjustable shelves hold up to 35lbs each (185lb total). Anchored to the wall at the top, this is a sturdy pantry!
