SwaddleMe by Ingenuity Beginnings Bassinet

After considering a lot of bassinets and reading a lot of reviews we chose this one. We brought this it home and it seemed fine when we set it up. Then we brought our baby home and it developed a slant within days of use by my 7lb newborn. It is supposed to be safe for use up to 20lbs and we didn't even make it to half that weight before she was rolling into the side due to the slant - long before she was actually able to roll herself on a flat surface. Regardless of mesh sides my newborn who cannot roll should not be waking up with her face pressed between the side and the mattress, particularly while she was less than half the weight limit. Other issues were with the height and mattress. The bassinet did not clear our bed, which is not high off the ground, so be very careful with measurements if you intend to use that feature, particularly if needed post c-section. The mattress also did not fit snugly ithe bassinet once the bassinet sheet was used, it forever left a gap after that. This may have been replaceable but at this point we were no longer planning to use the bassinet due to the unsafe slant. I had to purchase another bassinet, from another company, to replace this. The other company's bassinet was rated for 15lbs rather than 20lbs but has not developed any slant despite two months of regular use. Having looked around more after use I realized that the majority of reviews were "rewarded" reviews. Not all websites seem to flag that so be mindful of that when reading all the 5 star reviews of this bassinet.

I got this as a shower gift and it has been nothing but problems. Extremely hard to fold down and very unstable and not level when open. Scared to put my baby it it for safety reasons. Do not buy this!

Easily converts between 7 different height positions. Soft comfortable mattress. Breathable mesh design allows a clear line of sight of baby. Compact and easy to store. I like that I can easily adjust high . I highly recommend this bassinet!

I like that the sides of it are made of mesh which gives me piece of mind as a mom that my little one is ok. It also has a adjustable height feature that allows you to raise it as much or as little as you need to be able to lift and place baby down comfortably.
