works ok so far - needed an additional adapter because my exterior piece was not threaded. Hose could maybe be a little sturdier for outdoor use, but so far so good.

I needed this to pump water over 150 feet so I bought 6 of them and connected them all together. Worked out great. I would totally recommend this for your water pump.
