Great Bike

I know this is the base model bike. However, I have been really enjoying it and it works great so far. I don't mess with the gears too much and keep it at about 5 most of the time. This is great for street and gravel road riding. I do find the handle bars a tad low and my biggest complaint is the shortness of the handle grip. They are too short for my big hands, but other than this I think this is excellent value that can stand up again bike far more expensive bikes. My advice is to ride it in the store and make sure you are comfortable with it. I purchases a seat cover right away and it ride like a dream with no problems at all. I use it mostly for street driving and it is as light for transporting on TTC. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

Balanced purchase

This is the cross between needing cheap transportation, style, and performance. You won't find a better balance unless you buy used from a private seller. I shopped around for a bit and decided on this one. It has not failed me yet.

A: No this bike is not designed for extreme trail riding, or stunt riding. The Supercycle Nitro XT 26" Hardtail Mountain Bike is a great entry level mountain bike. Whether you are riding around the neighbourhood or doing some light trail riding, this bike is great to get you started.
