Decent, but unsecure with only one bike

Great build quality; sturdy and had nice brackets for bikes, but was seriously unsecure with only one bike on it. I was testing out my brand new mountain bike and towed it out to Bragg Creek. I was using a Raleigh adapter to mount the bike, and all was good for the most part. A little bit of swing back and forth, not too bad. I tried tying my bike down with a length of paracord to the frame of the rack to prevent the swing, but in strong winds on the highway it swung hard enough that despite pulling the rubber straps tight enough that it took two people to get them off again, my bike came unsecured and I was fortunate enough to catch it and pull over before it came completely off the rack.
This was unfortunate and disappointing because I was using the recommended adapter that Supercycle advises to use if your bike doesn’t fit (frame geometry, etc).
I’ll be returning this right away to get a wheel-mount style rack instead.
