Pretty good, not great for the price but does the trick. This was one of the only hose reels I could find with metal hose threads. Reel cranks nice, the guide makes it easy to wind the hose neatly.

Poor Quality & Design

1. Design is poor. when you reel in the hose there is a tab at the bottom right hand side only (poor left handed people) to put your foot on to try to stabilize the unit. That is not enough it bounces all over the place. We tucked a cement slab underneath to fix that problem. Didn't notice when we brought it home that the right hand wheel was slightly bent. Should have returned it unfortunately too late now. Weill be getting another one, this one is garbage.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: No it is on the left side when looking at the front. the reel handle is on the right side. the included connector hose is about 3~ish ft long.

A: To prevent the hose from rolling backwards when cranking the reel, place your foot on the bottom front brace of the hose reel as you are reeling in the hose.
