I have a queen size microplush with dual controls. This is a replacement for the one that I returned in January which also malfunctioned. Getting a replacement was
such a hassle. And now only one side of this blanket works. One side flashes F2 constantly. I unplugged the blanket from the wall and now - 10+ hours later it still flashes F2. How is this possible? The last working Sunbeam blanket I owned lasted 38 years - and now this? I'm done. Cutting my losses and will never buy Sunbeam again.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Thank you for contacting the Sunbeam® brand. We are sorry to hear that your Sunbeam® Microplush Heated Blanket's controller is flashing F2. That is not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help.
F2 on the control(s) means Fault Found. There are several causes for this problem:
1. Heated product is plugged into an extension cord.
2. Heated product is not plugged in properly.
To fix this problem, do the following to reset your heated product:
1. Turn the unit control to the Off position and unplug the power cord from the electrical connection. Let it rest for 2 minutes.
2. Check the heated blanket’s plug connection that directly plugs into the unit. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.
3. Hold the power button down and re-insert the power cord back into a wall outlet at the same time.
If the steps above are not followed in order, the bedding product will not reset.
After resetting and the problem still persists, we'd like to kindly request that you contact us directly or fill out the contact us form below in order to help you get to the best resolution. Have a good day!

Reliable heat

This is an awesome heating blanket. Just the thing to snuggle under on those cold nights. It has a pre heat setting as well which is nice for when you want to warm up the bed before getting in.
