Kitchen Toaster

No frills toaster, works well. It releases/pops up the toast/bagel quite high though. Fairly noticeable electrical buzzing sound when heating up compared to my previous toaster.

We had to replace our old GE toaster which we had for many years, perhaps 10 yrs or so. This toaster was on sale, and the brand name, I thought was dependable. I did read other reviews upon this toaster. I was hoping that the less than positive reviews were inaccurate. After a couple months and a couple of loaves of bread put through the toaster. I am prepared to share, just my opinion, upon the performance of this toaster. The toaster does not toast the bread evenly on both sides of the bread on the left slice slot, on the right slice slot it seems to toast lighter than the left side. However it seems to toast more evenly on both sides of the bread.

In some cases, this is caused by a build up of crumbs in the bottom of the toaster. You may try to unplug the unit. Let it rest for few minutes and turn it upside down to see if some bread crumbs will come out. Afterwards, try using the toaster again. Also, the toaster must be plugged in to a direct wall outlet and have power running to it, otherwise the toaster will not properly.
