The ConformHeat Sunbeam Heating Pad transfers more therapeutic, high-level heat than a typical heating pad to help relieve muscle and joint pain associated with muscle tension and stress. It's been cleverly designed from the inside out to be ultra-flexible, and with its lightly weighted layer, it provides improved body contact for more effective heat therapy when compared to a traditional heating pad. This pad blankets curved body parts—such as the shoulder, knee, arms, legs, back, and neck—for targeted heat therapy. With XpressHeat Technology, you can feel the heat within 3 seconds of turning it on, and three heat settings allow you to customize the level of heat. The 2 hour auto-off function is included for peace of mind. The underside of the pad is covered with super-soft micromink fabric, and the entire pad is machine washable.

Does not get very hot

4 years agoA: This question was a year ago and after i posted this question and nobody answered it, i called Sunbeam and spoke to a few departments regarding the inventory of the item in question. I was told they were pulled from distribution and are no longer for sale. Something about them overheating and melting and being a fire hazard....So they were probably made with the wrong gauge wire if that did at all happen. I'm not saying it did I'm just quoting what i was told by someone at SUNBEAM.

Q: Can we use it in the bed under the blankets to keep our feet warm? Is it protected against overheating?

Q: Can the 2 hour auto off feature be disabled, my wife wants one to stay on all night to warm her feet.

Please note that the 2-hour auto-off feature cannot be disabled. The auto-off feature is designed to conserve energy by automatically turning it off after 2 hours of continuous use. The auto-off Indicator will flash when the auto-off feature is activated and the pad shuts off. To reset after auto-off, press the control button until the desired heat setting is reached.
