The hitch basket and folding mechanism is a practical way of transporting material objects that do not need to be inside a vehicle. The weight capacity may be a concern so that no damage may occur to the hitch basket or vehicle receiver. The hitch basket may need additional reflectors to be visible to vehicles driving behind.

Pretty handy unit, a touch heavy but pricing reflects that. Good value for our hard earned dollars and it serves it's purpose well enough. I leave mine stored until needed to save hauling it around. Like having a mini trailer when required, use an actual trailer when you need more capacity.

Great addon for the vehicle.

Great and seemed really sturdy. It fits 4 larger (regular sized) rubbermaid bins and was easy to strap them down. Drove 5 hours with it and it held up great. It's pretty easy to take on and off as I had to do when I got a flat tire...
The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I think it should have something reflective on it so that the drivers behind can see it ok. I used a very bright duct tape and wrapped it in that.

Q: Can i put a 300Lb dirt bike on this?

A: You could but it would be tricky to tie down, you would be much better off with a purpose built dirt bike trailer hitch attachment. check the wheel base too, might be slightly short also lifting it on and off might be tricky, I struggle getting my 110pd hondo 20 hp outboard engine on it
