They need to add a drain hole to where they’ve got the magnet because it burns you by design RIGHT in the forking finger webs. I tried turning it and being so careful but good gravy my hands get scorched every time!!!!

    Questions

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Lift _lids_ out of water? Snap lids are supposed to be tight after heating canning. Full jars are too heavy to risk with this product.

    • A: 'Jcdelby', why does it look like the 'rings' are on top of jars and snap lids are in place? (Snap lids are not supposed to be re-used? though that may be OK I don't know.) Note the jars are closed with a disc that has sealing ring built in, that snaps down in centre as jar contents cool. Old way was glass disc and separate o-ring. In both cases held in place and protected by a metal ring that threads onto jar.
