The blades don't stay sharp for very long. I used it to cut cardboard boxes (not roofing shingles). The blade stay very sharp and made cleans cuts for about 4/5 boxes before it started grabbing bits and pieces. About 10 boxes in, I've noticed it takes way too much effort to cut. A straight no-name blade performed much better. This thing lasted about 10 boxes (4 sides each, 2ft/side = 80ft of cardboard). I expected better.
