I use Spray 9 for lots of different cleaning purposes.. it works excellent to clean engine plastics and vehicle mouldings and dead bugs off the grill .. in the spring and summer I add a cup of spray nine to the washer fluid in all my vehicles because it works great to get bugs off the windshield

Q: Can it be used to bbq grill, plastics, stainless steel, and bbq box?

A: Hello, thank you for your question on Spray Nine Heavy-Duty Cleaner/Disinfectant. Spray Nine can be used safely on BBQ grills, stainless steel and the BBQ box. Spray Nine is safe on many plastics, but care should be taken. Painted plastic, where dial markings might be found, should be cleaned sparingly with Spray Nine as over use can cause the markings to fade. Rinse down the BBQ fully to wash off Spray Nine reside from the grill as well as stainless steel surfaces. Thank you again for your question.

Q: Does this product work for the stain on the car carpet and seat?

A: Yes, Spray Nine can be used on automotive upholstery and carpet. It is advised that the surfaces be rinsed with a damp cloth after application to remove any residue. This product is not to be used on leather surfaces

A: Yes you can use Spray Nine in this application however we would recommend that the mug be thoroughly rinsed and all traces of product be removed prior to using.

Q: Can I use Spray Nine to clean the black marks from my stoneware dishes.

A: We recommend using caution when using Spray Nine on porous surfaces such as stoneware. If possible, test Spray Nine on the back the stoneware to see if it stains. We would also recommend rinsing the Spray Nine quickly after spraying and rubbing the surface. Do not allow the product to dry.

Q: Will Spray Nine harm the finish on my car if I use it as a bug removal?

A: Spray Nine is an alkaline cleaner, and if not properly rinsed, can affect auto paints, coatings and wax. It will certainly clean very effectively, but if left on to dwell too long, dry or soak it can cause discoloration. We generally recommend not using Spray Nine on the exterior paint/body of vehicles where the colour and appearance is sensitive to the owner. We recommend the following items that are ideal for Bug & Tar removal: Simoniz Bug & Tar Remover (039-3610) Meguiar’s Bug Splatter Sponges (039-3624)
