Good, but side opening would have been better

It seems well built and holds lots of gear. I would’ve preferred a side opening carrier. The rear opening is very awkward.

Small price tag, BIG load capacity

It’s a nice cargo box. I can’t say GREAT but for the price you can’t go wrong. It’s one of the largest boxes out there. Plus, sport rack is owned by Thule so you can trust the quality and aerodynamics. I like that it’s not long like a canoe but more square in shape. This is a plus point when figuring out storage. I used to have the longer shaped one and it was hard to store. With this style and shape I was able to store it in my shed. In terms of load capacity, I was able to fit a lot of our camping gear inside without any issues. The lock is located on the back which makes it difficult to access. I must say, I prefer this style of opening Vs the ones that open one side at a time. It was nice to have the whole box open while I load and unload. Outer shell seems very solid however the hinges inside are a bit flimsy. You have to be mindful of that when loading the box. Install is pretty smooth too. It came with Ubolts that are relatively easy to work with. This box is not something you’re gonna be opening a bunch of times. It’s not built for that. You just unload and leave it closed until it’s time to pack up again. Overall I would recommend it if you are looking for something with a smaller price tag but will give you maximum storage. I have it installed on Nissan Murano with OEM rails. The pre drilled holes on the box were fine but I drilled holes to make it more centred to my vehicle.

Good storage box

Really good so far but I have only had it for about a month and haven’t driven far with it yet but so far it’s holding up well bigger than the others that are 100-200$ more also SportRack is owned by Thule so technically it’s a Thule box

Your on the right track with SportRack

The sportRack vista was easy to mount on my Jeep. It holds more space than I anticipated and looks great. I would recommend this product to a friend.

It’s bigger than you expect.

Feels a little flimsy, but it is massive. Great value for price so far.

  • A: How am I supposed to know that? Measure the width of your rails and the min max slide adjustment and note the capacity of your rack and compare to carrier

Q: I have a Hyundai Venue Ultimate 2023 (with raised roof rack) and I also have attached Thule Wingbar Evo crossbars. Would this work for me?

  • A: Not sure if they will work with your specific crossbars. I have a GMC Acadia and I found the U clamps that came with this roof rack were extremely short and didn't work with my crossbars. I had to go to the hardware store and get my own U clamps. It was an easy fix in the end, but it did require drilling new holes in the bottom of the rack for the exact placement of my crossbars.

Q: I have a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and purchased crossbar roof racks that are 3 inches wide. Will this cargo box and the mounting system work for my vehicle and crossbars?

  • A: I would say yes but when you go to Canadian Tire they will have one on Display, open it up and grab the bracket and ask if you can make sure it fits around. Even if you have to adapt a bracket to work you should. The storage it offers makes it a good choice. Plastic material won't allow any careless leaning else you will be cracking the plastic.
