for those that don't have or need a permanent roof rack, this does the job well. The straps that go around the kayak should be a bit longer if you have a wide kayak.

Works well, good deal when on sale

Works quite well to carry one kayak on the relatively curvy roof of my Mazda 3. Obviously it's more of a hassle to use this than if you had proper roof racks, but it does work well. On sale it can be a good deal.

Cheap but effective

This is a cheap way to haul your kayak. First time took a while to figure it out but second was better. The straps are kinda cheap so may need replacing soon. For the price it worked well.

Jetty sport rack

Just bought a kayak and needed to get it home. It did the trick, but bought and used ratchet straps instead cause I don’t trust the straps it came with. It works, but if your going to be kayaking a lot I recommend actual roof racks.
