Good buy

Good deal on sale, requires assembly but isn't too bad unless you're a very non hands on person. Get another to help and it'll be alot easier. Seems flimsy, and it kinda is, but when it's closed up and filled and driven a few hundred hundred hundred and so on kms it hasn't failed yet. Over filled er and had it sagging and its still going strong. Good budget carrier for half the price of the top name brand type. Solid buy on sale and still good at regular price

Hugely helped me move across Canada multiple times

This carrier has withstood 3 trips across Canada without issue. Windy and rainy conditions were no issue. I had it strapped to my roof and it did its job commendably. Just be sure to check the side locks, front and rear latches closely before travelling. All these people leaving bad reviews because of their own negligence...

Do not buy if you have a 2015 Nissan Rogue with Nissan horizontal rails. Incompatible

Terrible! Returned before leaving the lot. Brackets are not universal. Did not fit on stock 2015 Nissan Rogue Horizontal roof rack. Storage unit bracket fastener whole positions were too close together to be useful.

Much cheaper cost then other rooftop carriers

I have had this unit for years. Never leaked. I have used the original hardware on multiple vehicles and never had an issue! With out spending 1000’s of dollars it will do the job of any carrier. Would highly recommend it for camping, holds extras if you need extra room in the car.

Should be a 200$ max for this product

Low Quality: The plastic is very thin, it bends all over and the quality of the shell is not strong at all. It bends all over when you open it.
LONG Assembly required: Takes at least 1-2 hours to assemble as well.
Not very secure: The screws that hold the lock are on the outside so its would not be hard to break into, but really its so bendable you can simply bend it open if you wanted.
Not really Water proof: I highly doubt it will keep water out since the hingr screws sit loose and water will easily get in.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: The SportRack Skyline XL Cargo Box will work on any vehicle that has a full roof rack system. Please take note that load capacities may differ based on vehicle manufactures load limitation. You will also need to sure proper placement to allow accessibility to the rear hatch.
