    Perfect for our mini-van

Used this rack several times transporting one to three bikes 1000+km on the back of a Chevy Uplander. Sturdy. No problems on bumpy roads as long as you are careful. Relatively easy to install ( takes about 10-15 minutes). I would not recommend clipping fasteners to plastic moldings though.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Adequate Bike Rack

A very versatile bike rack for a minivan however if you drive a 1999-2004 Honda Odyssey you will be forced to attach the clips of the top straps to your rear upper spoiler (plastic) - not recommended according to the instructions. To get around this, I ensure that most of the weight is supported by the side strap clips then I reinforce the top straps with some additional tie downs that I purchased attaching it to the roof rails.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Great for going long distance trips

Fits well on a van and and it would be great if it held four bikes cause otherwise you need a roof rack and that is around the same price.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Not for kids bikes

When the product description says "Can carry up to three adult bikes" it means it can carry up to three bikes, and only adult bikes. Children's bikes do not fit even with the optional adapter as the adapter is to big for kids bikes.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Mounted two bikes on my minivan in 10 minutes with no diffculty; sturdy design; stable during entire camping trip The 80" strap is too short so I used the tail ends of the other six straps and secured all bikes with no concern of safety.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Will I be able to open my hatchback trunk with this on? I have a 2008 Dodge Caliber SXT. I'm wondering if I can open the trunk with and without bikes on the rack. Thanks.

    • A: I decided to give this product a try and can say that yes, the hitch does open easily with the carrier attached (bikes must be removed). cb3dard - Fort Erie, ON

Q: Can you use this while using a trailer hitch on an SUV? We want to tow a 16' boat behind our Ford Explorer, and a bike rack would eliminate the need to put the bikes inside the boat.

    • A: Yes you can depending on what type of bikes you are putting on and depending on the boat/trailer. I have used this bike rack on a Chevy Uplander mounted close to the van with two full size bikes and my sons boys mountain bike on it. From there I mount my 14" aluminum boat behind it and even at full turn it doesnt interfere with the boat. So it is more of a trail and error! Hope this helps.

Q: Does this fit Nissan Quest 2012 or Hyundai Veloster 2012?

    1 Answer
    • A: This bicycle carrier is extremely versatile and will likely fit either of these two vehicles. The rack arms are fully independent of the support arms, thus the rack can be configured to fit a variety of vehicle shapes and designs. If your vehicle is equipped with a rear spoiler or glass body panels, you may have challenges securing the top two straps to the top of the hatch, although alternate tie-down points can typically be arranged that will still maintain secure installation.

Q: Would this fit Honda Insight 2010?

    1 Answer
    • A: Yes, this bike rack should fit a 2010 Honda Insight. This particular bike rack is the most suitable as it is fully-adjustable and will confirm to the rear of the vehicle while still being able to maintain horizontal rack arms. You may experience challenges with securing the top 2 straps given the design of the rear hatch; there may be an absence of body panel edges to secure the hooks to, although alternate tie down points can typically be arranged.
