The Breaker Finder is an integrated tool used to correctly identify the right breaker every time. The signal is generated by a plug-style tool that also verifies the correct wiring of outlets. Q: How does this test data/voice lines? This is advertised as a data/voice line tester, but it appears that it is designed to test AC circuit location only

Q: I've read the reviews indicating the test "signal" leaks across other breakers giving false positive readings. If I turn off all the breakers first, will it work? Or does the signal generator need power to function?

A: The breakers needs to be powered in order for the tester to receive a signal. The signal can sometimes leak across to other breakers but the signal should be noticeably stronger at the correct breaker. If you have any questions, please contact our team at customer.service@gardnerbender.com.

Q: How far is the transmitter reach? I have a large house, and the panel is in the basement at one end, will it reach the other end (70') and the 2nd floor?

Q: can't find accessory kit CS61200 AS To use the CS61200 on a light socket or switch, the manual refers to accessory kit CS61200 AS. I can't find this for sale in Canada. Is there a way to obtain it through Canadian Tire?
