Q: Can you mount it to a brick wall?

A: Yes I would say you likely could , if you had the proper cement screws. They would have to have large heads , or you would need washers. The unit comes with carriage bolts designed for use on a backboard that you need to use nuts on the opposite side.

A: Please call 1-800-SPALDING with the model # or description fo your backbaord, and our Cusomer Service team will advise you on what rims fit your backboard. If you don't have the model #, measuring the distance between the bolt holes where the rim fits would be helpful.
