SEAL tough.

The best value for your money in a tactical/outdoor fixed-blade knife. The two part design (full-tang blade and moulded handle) is solid and practically indestructible. Check out the destruction test vids on YouTube. The cryo-treated, AUS-8 Stainless blade sharpens to a razor's edge, and won't rust as quickly as high carbon steel (Ka-bar, SRK etc). The basic nylon, MOLLE/belt sheath is of decent quality, and many aftermarket Kydex options are available. There's a reason SOG has continued making these since the late 90s.

Good knife with a solid design. Carrying case is OK, it has an adjust back to custom fit to your belt, vest, backpack or whatever else you decide to attach it to, it also has dense plastic inner lining to prevent accidental puncture through, the only thing I would say that could use improvement is to have a better material for the button strap that holds in into the case I can predict it will wear out soon and need customization.

A: I bought it last year. I’ll report back in 9 years. Jokes aside, it will only look brand new if you don’t use it. It’s a good knife and don’t regret purchasing it. Yet I still carry a smaller buck knife as my daily carry. This was to big to be carried everyday.

Q: Is this the newer revision of the SOG Pup? The picture CT is using is of an older design. SOG has since updated the design. Does CT sell the newer design of the SOG Pup or is this older stock of the older design? Thanks.
