It's a great product. We always bought bubbly water but this slows you to just make your own and add as much gas as you like. I love mine very bubbly but my kids only use 1 or 2 pumps so it works great for us all. I personally don't love the soda flavors but my kids claim they taste just like real soda (so it's a win in my book and has less sugar - also no sugar options). We got one as a gift and I actually purchased this one to gift my sister for her birthday. We love it. Also great price and high quality product.

Works best with spring water

The first batch of soda water I made I used tap water. It had an off taste. I researched and found that depending on the minerals in your local water supply, off tastes can result. So I tried with Poland Spring bottled water, and it came out tasting great. Not as inexpensive as tap water, but cheaper than buying commercial soda water.

Q: I purchased a Soda Stream Art after my current sodastream died. Can I trade in the cannisters from the old machine as they don't fit the new version.

A: Our retailer partners should exchange an empty blue screw cylinder for a full pink quick connect cylinder at the typical exchange price. If you have full, sealed blue cylinders, it is up to the retailers discretion to exchange for full, sealed pink cylinders at no extra cost.
