Youd probably be better off with some squeeze bottles and food coloring.
You have to squeeze the bottles quite hard, and then the water just drips out. One of the holes in one of the lids straws wasn't made big enough so you could barely squeeze it out. The purple color was barely noticeable.

Toxic… Parents, do not buy!

I was excited to play with these in the snow with my son. Unfortunately, the snow paint contains toxic chemicals which is not advertised here and we only realized after discovering a warning in fine print on the box. Our fun was short lived - we only had the paints out for a few moments before my son decided to taste the snow that had just been sprayed with paint. After he said how sweet it tasted, we quickly reviewed the ingredients and discovered the toxic warning. Toys made for kids shouldn’t be toxic. Period. These shouldn’t be sold and they absolutely shouldn’t be marketed for children.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Mini Sno-Markers. Do you mix with water and is it washable from clothes?

A: Yes there are instructions to mix the powder with water in the kit. We have never had it stain clothing and have used it a few times. It is messy.
