Tool works well. Warranty process is complicated and antiquated. Needs to be revamped.

I would like a refund.

First off, I love this Saw, but it has already cramped out on me. I've only had it for 5 or 6 months; I have the receipt and warranty. I've only used it a handful of times. I'm a big Skil fan. I wish I had gone with a battery version more, but I went corded. I'm not sure what happened. I was on a job cutting plywood, and it just stopped working. I tried a few things to get it running again, but I'm not sure. I just heard a loud pop, and then it died.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Saw is good; the water-hose is trash

The saw itself has worked very well cutting two-inch thick granite stair treads and bluestone for a patio, but the thin-walled mesh-reinforced PVC water-hose soon failed: it tends to kink, and after only a couple of weeks of relatively light use it developed a pinhole leak at the kink and started spraying a geyser of water 15 feet into the air. Of course the leak happened at the worst time, during a spell of really good weather at the end of the season when I was hoping to complete the job before the freezing overnight temperatures arrived, and I wasted one of those warm and sunny days dealing with the leak. The hose should be stainless braided hose, which doesn't kink yet is flexible enough and able to deliver sufficient water to the blade. I've replaced the larger of the two hoses with braided, and it's working well.
