A: The Stabilizer is a weight that is screwed into the front of a compound bow so that when the bow is held up in a vertical position it makes the balance weight forward so when you pull the string it's balance is even from the hand position. Separately, it's rubber coated which reduces felt vibration of the string when released. You can see the stabilizer directly below the hand on this bow. Hope this helps.
