Not water proof

Bought this to cover my car outside, its advertised as being water resistant but it does not keep water out. For the price you pay for this thing it should do a better job.

A: The car will still get wet but it would just be the water on top of the repellent. Similar to when you put repellent on your car at the car wash. Afterwards, when it rains, the car will still get wet but the water will just roll off.
