Removed extensive road paint splatter...

a year ago

Recently, i had an incident with a road paint truck that was spraying lovely yellow paint all over the road, and the front end of my car, grill, hood, windshield, and roof. Once I arrived at my destination and saw the extent of the yellow paint, i significantly unimpressed with the situation. Upon searching i found many references to bug, tar and other adhesive sprays that could remove the splatter and not affect my paint or clear coat. I tried Silverwax Sticky spot Car Glue and & Tar remover and with some elbow grease removed 99% of the road splatter. The other 1% was because i couldn't remove it or didn't see it. It did a great job, and I was relieved. After a subsequent wash and wax, car looks like it never had any splatter on it. Super happy with the results.

It took a little rubbing but it removed the tree pitch. The vehicle had to be washed after. Over all it worked well.
