A must for long trips with kids

Purchased the unit to keep the kids entertained for a long road trip and it did the job. Never once skipped or had problems. Sure there are things I would improve. Supporting DivX and providing a battery that last longer than 2 hours should be high on the list of improvements.
Keep those remote that come with the unit close by as there are features only accessible through the remote (such as linking video between both display unit).
The fact that each unit is an actual DVD player is great such that each kid can watch what they want.
On the down side, the straps to hold the DVDs to the headrest are a pain to deal with, and there is no way to change disc once the unit is installed on the seat headrest.
Not the best system around, but definately a great purchase to keep the kids quiet during those long road trips.

Dual screen problem

Called Curtis (distributor of units) and was told they have technical staff working on the problem of non functioning dual screens and to call back in a few days.
Other than the above problem units are nice, have not tried seat mounting straps but they look pretty wimpy, kids tend to hold units on lap anyways so not to worried. Units are sturdy but I can see the interconnect cables and power cables having problems over time and failing but for the money (especially on sale) getting essentially 2 players its a pretty good deal.
Rating would change if they can fix the dual screen problem.

Oh for two :-(

Thought we'd grab this for the kids in the backseat. Sadly, the dual-mode just will not work. Each DVD players works OK, but for our young twins--we want to watch the same thing! Tried another box... same result.
