Does The Job

This deicer does the job, it is safe on my dogs paws and I noticed she does not track salt residue into the house. Handle on the bucket and flip top lid works great so I do not have to use my hands to spread this out.

Works great! Doesn't take long to melt the ice and I can let my small dog out and not worry. Too expensive to use on the rest of the driveway ( it's too large) or public sidewalk but all along the house where the dog goes is perfect!

A: Not recommended to be used on wood.

Q: Is this good for stamped color concrete which was made less than a year ago?

A: No, it is not good. The customer should avoid using any ice melter (including this one) on any concrete that is less than a year old, and any concrete that is stamped. There is the warning ( see snapshot below) on the jug label.

Q: what chemical is used to melt the ice in this product what are the ingredients

A: The active ingredients in Sifto Safe Step Sure Paws Ice Melter are Magnesium Chloride and Potassium Sulphate. There is no Sodium Chloride (salt) in this product.
