Q: Do these filters fit MasterVac 54-0010-8? Or are these filters different from 54-0143?
2 years agoA: The answer from Shop-Vac is unclear/not helpful. Some Shop-Vac filters definitely work on MasterVac machines. For example, the filter I mentioned, 54-0143, is Shop-Vac Replacement Cartridge Filter for MasterVac and Dirt Hound Wet/Dry Vacuums 90342 UPC 026282903426 and it fits MasterVac 54-0005-2, 54-0010-8, and 54-0012-4. The seemingly blanket statement that "Shop-Vac filters will not work on MasterVac machines" is inaccurate. So my question again is, are these two filters in 499-0422 different from the filter in 54-0143?
