I love the shark vacuum. The power and suction is perfect on carpet just as it is on hardwood floors. I have major back problems and it’s very light weight and doesn’t hurt me when I use it. It holds a charge very well and I love the fact that it comes apart so you can use it with the attachment for cleaning the car or small crevices. It moves around very easily especially to go under furniture. The dirt canister is a bit small but I don’t find it fills up too quickly which is an added bonus.

This is a terrible vac system. I didn't realise that on the website it says 17 minute battery life. Mine died after 12 minutes of use. A waste of time and worthless piece of equipment. This is the second unit they sent me. The first one died after 10 minutes of use.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Would not recommend

Bought this based on “ good” reviews. Worked well for a few months and is CONSTANTLY clogged at the spinning head. Holds a full charge for less than 2 minutes and the battery in the handle gets hot.
It used to suck up hair but now it collects it at the spinning head and will spit it all out in chunks when you switch from hard floor to area rugs.
I’ve cleaned this thing at least once a week and once it’s cleaned it squeaks but doesn’t work any better.

Only lasted a year

I’ve had the vacuum almost a year and up until now it’s great. However it now will not suck anything up and sounds like it’s full when it isn’t. I’ve replaced the filter, emptied it and make sure it wasn’t clogged or hung up. You turn it on and it sounds full and then shuts off
