This is so light

This is so light and easy to use. I love that it’s cordless ( rechargeable) I have bamboo floors and this is used every day. It has different settings for floor and rug and it also has extra power. For hard to get things. Comes with the thin attachment for small spots. Can be-hand held or upright. It doesn’t take bags so I just empty as needed. Never loses suction. The crevice tool is great to get into the slider grooves on my many sliding doors. One of my best purchases. I’ve had it for four years and still works greatShark ION Rocket Cordless Ultra-Light Vacuum

Not good on carpets

I have had this vacuum for a couple months now. Unfortunately I have discovered that if you try to vacuum a carpet that doesn't have a very short pile, the roller bar stops spinning. I called customer support at Shark, and they said that this vacuum is not designed to vacuum carpets like that, and what I am experiencing is standard. It works fine on floors. I really like the light on it.

I have had this vacuum for a week now and it works fine.Has a 5 year warranty and 2 year on battery.One charge will do all day.It is a little heavy but has lots of power.

I purchased the Shark ION 101C before Christmas. I think the model may be outdated now and replaced by a new model. However, I have to say that I am very pleased with this product. It does a great job and charging the battery has not been a problem. I seem to be able to finish my 1300 sq. foot area. Otherwise, I would stop for a tea and charge up again! My only concern - I couldn't understand why the vacume just quit on me. I checked the rollers and they were ok. As it turned out, the part joining the head and the head itself were blocked with debris. Once I cleaned them out, everything was back to great order. The vacume almost ran away with me! Really, I have recommended this to a couple in CT that were looking at the Dyson, and managed to convince them that this is one is great and cheaper too! Hope everyone agrees with me. I'm happy!

A: The ION Power Pack, like all lithium-ion products, will naturally decrease in capacity over time from the 100% capacity of a new battery. These times are based on 100% capacity (see attached). The initial charge on the pack is approximately 30%. Fully charge the pack – 3.5 hours minimum / overnight preferred – and assess battery performance. Note that battery run time is affected by the amount of work you are performing. Vacuuming on high pile carpet while using Max Power will reduce battery run time quicker than vacuuming bare floors. The Battery model is XBAT200.

Q: This will mainly be used on hardwood and slate floors. Do you have any knowledge of how they work on those surfaces?

A: This model is effective at cleaning slate floors. There are two setting options; one for high pile carpets and one for low pile/hard floors.
