Great for small areas and filling patches.

Seeds appear to be clean (no weeds) growing consistently in both sun/shade. However, gestation took a little longer getting started than other brands. Otherwise, the over all results were very good.

The most common reason a lawn does not respond to fertilizer is soil pH. Soil pH must be in-between 5.5-7.5 for fertilizer to be absorbed by the grass. You may want to perform a soil pH test. Thatch over 1/2" thick prevents the nutrients from getting to the plant roots. If the lawn isn't receiving at least an inch of water per week, then the lawn will not green up as fast. A continued or general yellow look may indicate a lack of iron. The grass may be under stress from disease or insect activity.
