2 weeks and no Grass yet had gotten Rained on quite frequently, for first week, warmer weather and after very heavy dews every Morning, ground remained damp until noon most days. Third week still no sprouts.

You should start seeing some results within about 14 days. Keep in mind that different grass types germinate at different rates. Rye grass and fine fescue are usually the early birds, popping up first. Bluegrass, on the other hand, can take a bit longer, sometimes up to 21 days to show.

Poor grass seed.

Not a very good product. I tried this on several rather large areas where there was little to no grass. I put down topsoil first, then the grass seed, then covered it again with more topsoil. The grass virtually never took hold even though I watered it every evening for 2 weeks.
So much for "Quick & Thick"!

A: To: ScottsCutomerCare: Hi, There is no indication of "Creeping Red Fescue" for "Scotts Turf Builder Quick & Thick Sunny Mix" on Scotts Canada website and also on package only "Contains Kentucky Bluegrass and Turf-type Perennial Ryegrass" is stated. On the side of package written "Total Nitrogen (N) 12%; Contains 65% w/w (KBG, turf type perennial ryegrass) "Creeping Red Fescue" is normally added to sun and shade mix so please double check and provide the exact varieties of seeds. I have just used 5 bags on my new lawn and I only wanted Perennial Ryegrass and KBG. If this package contains "Creeping Red Fescue" then all my effort was based on misinformation. Kindly double check and confirm. Many thanks

A: For best results apply Scotts Turf Builder Quick $ Thick Sunny Grass Seed with a spreader on setting listed on the bag. Mow the ares shorter than normal and rake to loosen the top layer of soil.
