Not sure it did much of anything. It may be helpful but it isn't inexpensive to buy and doesn't spread very far. Not sure I would buy any more.

Been using for two years now and my lawn is thick, lush and a dark green. Easy application with my hand spreader. Way better than a shovel and wheelbarrow.

Great technology, I mean spread a small bag of this stuff versus many bags of topsoil All I can say is my grass is so green, all my neighbours came over to ask what I had done. Scott’s turf builder and Scott’s soil builder, I sent my neighbours to aisle 64 of our local Canadian Tire and now they are all happy

Q: Hi, I have applied fertilizer. Do I have to wait to try using this top dressing product due to having used fertilizer or can this be applied anyway? Also, can seed be spread on top of this product? Thanks

A: The good thing about this product is that it helps to hold the seed in place, and it hides the seed from the birds. I put down seed first, and then cover with this product. Voila!! No seed loss to rainfall or birds.

Q: Is it true that there is no need to use fertilizer and topsoil if I use it both in the spring and fall. It sounds like a good replacement. No danger of fertilizer burning the grass and hurting the back handling with the heavy topsoil
