My lawn was in bad shape this year with uncontrollable weeds . I spread this on my front and back yard. This product worked great to get rid of most weeds .The grass grew so well that I had to cut the whole lawn still in November!

I used it this summer on my lawn in Fort McMurray and it worked absolutely great! My lawn was finally thick and lush. Other grass seed never worked for me as good as this. Definitely will continue to buy.

A: Hello Pattie and thank you for your question. For Scotts Lawn Response 911, we suggest to use a Scotts hand-held, drop, or broadcast spreader. Spreading by hand can be challenging, as it's difficult to achieve even coverage. Mow the area shorter than usual, about 5 cm or less. Rake to loosen the top layer of soil and remove any dead grass. You want those seeds to have a comfy place to settle in. Pick a spot that gets full sun to light shade. Those seeds need at least 5-8 hours of direct or filtered sunlight a day to thrive. Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings are at least 5 cm (2 inches) tall.
