1. very poor quality bike 2. installed improperly . The chain was falling, brakes were not adjusted, tires were flat, the fenders are low quality and badly installed

Constant breakdowns

While this bike is comfortable and a nice ride on the road, I find it is extremely demanding maintenance-wise. Having owned this bike for a little over two months, I've had to deal with constant derailments, handlebars that keep coming loose and screws that have fallen off mid-ride. Recently, my front gear was actually bent out of shape due to a derailment (see photo). All in all, the bike is great when it actually works but its poor craftsmanship and unreliability totally negate the positives.

Good Value, Nicest in Class

I looked at several Hybrid/Comfort cycles and settled on this one. It has a larger fit than the frame size would indicate. (See how the cross bar of the tube angles downward, resulting in a smaller measure from crank to seat tube.) I am 6'3" and this bike is large enough for me. Not mentioned in the features but noteworthy is the suspension seat post, which along with the front suspension forks gives this a really nice ride. At purchase, the front fender did not fit but it was fairly simple to use the alternate holes closer to the hub and that solved the problem, although you will need a couple of your own bolts and nuts. Thanks to its aluminum wheels and frame, this bike is about 5 pounds lighter than the steel ones I looked at. It is a handsome unit and the "stitched", leather-look seat really dresses it up. Overall, I feel this bicycle is a good value, especially when it is on sale, and it is the nicest in its class.

A: The bike already comes with a crank chain guard, but it would fit a full chain guard. You would have to check to see from a chain guard manufacturer if it fits.
