It broke within a year.

I had to drill it out to get into my house when the manual locking mechanism broke inside this unit. Not built to last. Worked well for a while but not a reliable product in my opinion.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: does fits in 1 1/2 door holes

A: This Schlage Touch combo is only certified grade 2 for 2 1/8 prep hole doors. If you require a smaller hole like 1 1/2, the certified grade 1 : Schlage Connect and Sense can retrofit the smaller hole by removing a adaptor inside the interior trim.
